Parents meeting of Dharma suci preschool invited the Professor Mei-Hsiu Chuo to do the speech about " How important about family education"
August. 20th, 2016, the Dharma suci preschool invited parents whose children enrolled this preschool come to school to listen about the educational speech and to help parents to understand how to work with their children.
The school principal " Fonda Anggara Gautama " did the opening and invited the educational expert professor Mei-Hsiu Chuo, came from Asia University early childhood education department in Taiwan, did the speech for parents.
In the speech, professor Chuo indicated that " the most important thing in the family education is parental involvement ". Parents need to grow up with their child. Parents need to learn how to read stories with child, do the art creative together, sing a song together, and learning together. We don't want children to do much homework or paper work too much.
In Indonesia, most of parents want their child to learn trilingual, Indonesia, English and Chinese. Professor Chuo said that if parents take the worng way to teach children language, it will be very horrible because children will mess up different language. For example, one sentence will have two or three language mix together. The principal from Dharma suci preschool also indicated that language mess up also is the main problem in Indonesia.
Finally, Professor Chuo said every parents that " if you want your child learn Chinese or English perfect, you need to use only one language at home."
